William “Bill” F. Henagan

Bill is co-Founder and Managing Director of Henagan Spencer Capital Partners, a family office oriented, Private Equity firm investing in lower middle market and Technology enabled companies in the Southeastern US.
His experience includes more than forty years partnering, problem solving and investing with fast growth, highly complex companies, including start-ups, turnarounds, family companies and the Fortune 1000.
Bill has consistently served his community over the years in non-profit leadership roles with Visiting Nurse Health Systems, Breakthrough Atlanta, Rotary Club of Atlanta, The Lovett School and Vanderbilt University Engineering School. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Atlanta Technology Angels, Inc., and Visiting Nurse Health Systems. He won both the Marion Collier Ross Leadership Award from the Rotary Club of Atlanta and Pathbuilders’ Outstanding Mentor Award in 2022.
Bill earned an MBA from Emory’s Goizuetta Business School and a Civil Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University. He started his career building missile guidance systems with Texas Instruments, followed by a successful career consulting to the Fortune 1000 with CSC/Index and Deloitte.
A fifth generation Georgian and third generation native of Buckhead, Bill and spouse Babette are empty nesters who enjoy the performing Arts, fly-fishing and golf.
