Shyam K. Reddy is the President and Chief Executive Officer at BlueLinx Corporation, a publicly traded wholesale distributor of building products based in Atlanta, Georgia. At various points during his 9.5 years at the company, Shyam has led the COVID-19, legal, human resources, information technology, risk management, real estate, corporate development, pricing, sales excellence, marketing, and communications teams, while leading multiple real estate and capital markets transactions during the company’s turnaround and growth story. Also, from 2018 until early 2019, Shyam served as the Chief Transformation Officer, where he led the integration of the $1.4B Cedar Creek business purchased by BlueLinx in March 2018. Prior to joining BlueLinx in 2015, Shyam served as the CAO, GC & Corporate Secretary of OmniMax International and the Regional Administrator of the Southeast Sunbelt Region of the U.S. General Services Administration during the Obama Administration. Shyam also practiced law as a corporate partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton.

Shyam currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the Board of Trustees, Audit Committee, and Compensation Task Force at the US German Marshall Fund of the United States. In addition, Shyam served as the Chair of the Board of Councilors at The Carter Center and has served on the Board of Trustees at the Woodruff Arts Center, the Board of Visitors at Emory University, the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Atlanta, and the Boards of The Alumni Association and School of Public Health at The University of Georgia. He is a graduate of both LEAD Atlanta and Leadership Atlanta.

Shyam obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (1996) and Master’s Degree in Public Health (1997) from Emory University and his Juris Doctorate from The University of Georgia (2000). Shyam lives in Atlanta with his wife, Renee, and son, Beckett.
