Formed in 2003, APG specializes in well-located, management-intensive, multi-tenant properties. Prior to forming APG, Rodbell spent four years as Vice President of Apex Supply Company, a wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies, heating and air conditioning, and other building materials. Atlanta-based Apex Supply, founded by the Rodbell family in 1949, was acquired by The Home Depot in 2000.

Rodbell began his career at JMB Realty/Heitman Financial in Chicago as a member of the acquisitions team and worked for Lazard Freres & Co. in New York as an Associate in the Real Estate Private Equity Group prior to moving back to his hometown of Atlanta.

Rodbell earned a B.S. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of The Westminster Schools, where he remains involved as an active parent. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta, active with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a member of the Executive Committee of the Buckhead Coalition, and a product-council member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a former member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and has served on the boards of Camp Sunshine and the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. Rodbell is a native of Atlanta and lives in Buckhead with his wife, Heather, and their two sons.

Why the Coalition is important to me:

I am proud to be part of the Buckhead Coalition as its members continue this tradition to help make Buckhead, and Atlanta as whole, a better place to live and work. The organization provides a forum for leaders to convene and coalesce around issues critical to the community.

Individual leaders’ matter. Leaders working together can have an even greater impact.
