Emily Balentine Barbour

Emily Barbour is a third-generation wealth manager who leads Balentine’s Family and Legacy practice. Over the past 16 years, she has worked across nearly every area of the firm, giving her a deep understanding of how exceptional service is built and sustained. Today, Emily brings that breadth of experience to her leadership roles as a member of Balentine’s Management Team. In these positions, she helps guide day-to-day operations and strengthen alignment across the firm, while supporting families in preserving and growing the legacies they have worked hard to build.

A Buckhead native, Emily is deeply invested in the Atlanta community. She is an alumna of Washington and Lee University, Coxe Curry & Associates, and the Philanthropic Advisor Leadership Institute (PALI). Emily currently serves as Trailblazers Chair for Skyland Trail, Board Member of The Southern Highlands Reserve, Advisory Council member for the University of Georgia Press, and member of the Peachtree Garden Club. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
