Clyde Higgs
President & CEO - Atlanta Beltline, Inc.
Clyde Higgs was named President and CEO of the Atlanta Beltline in February 2019 after serving as Interim CEO for a year and a half and as Chief Operating Officer for three years. In his role, Higgs leads the company and works to strengthen the Beltline’s partnerships with private and public partners across the region, state, and nation. Recognized for his servant leadership style, he was named by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a “Most Admired CEO” honoree and included in Georgia Trend’s “100 Most Influential Georgians.”
Before joining the Atlanta Beltline in 2015, Higgs served as Executive Vice President of a disruptive, billion-dollar revitalization initiative led by Castle & Cooke and the state of North Carolina where he had full P&L responsibility for the North Carolina Research Campus. He currently serves on the boards of T & M Associates, the International Economic Development Council, and the Council for Quality Growth.
