Andy Heyman

Managing Partner - ASH Investment Partners

Andy Heyman, along with his wife Melissa, co-founded ASH Investment Partners (ASH IP) with a mandate to invest in companies that enable digital transformation for enterprise customers.

Heyman’s experience in the technology space resulted from multiple C-level roles at businesses ranging $1M-3.5B. Heyman served as a senior executive across various technology-enabled businesses throughout his 30-year corporate career. After spending eight years at Accenture in the early 1990s, Heyman became a senior executive at privately held Radiant Systems. After a successful IPO a year later, Heyman held various Division President roles before becoming Chief Operating Officer of the company. He served in this capacity until NCR acquired Radiant in 2011 for $1.3B. Heyman stayed with NCR, first running the combined Hospitality Divisions of NCR and Radiant before leading NCR’s Financial Services Division. There, Heyman’s primary responsibilities included overseeing R+D, sales, and consulting for the $3.5 billion business. He then left to become CEO of Catalina Marketing where he remained for two years before leaving to focus on ASH IP full time.

During his corporate career, Heyman oversaw both organic and inorganic growth including over a dozen acquisitions. Within the technology industry, he has experience with hardware, networks, software and SaaS businesses, consulting, and digital marketing. During the last two decades, he allocated his capital and time into private businesses he felt had a unique moat, a reasonable valuation, and were run by operating partners he trusted. His private investment portfolio generated exceptional returns, which helped fuel his conviction to focus full-time on ASH in 2018 along with a remarkable group of investors.

Today, ASH IP is actively investing from a $150 million fund focused on digital services firms with expertise in data science and engineering, marketing technologies, and cybersecurity services. The firm makes control investments in profitable firms generating between $25-$50 million in annual revenue. ASH IP’s most recent investment, ImagineX, is an Atlanta-based firm specializing in software engineering and cybersecurity services. Previous investments include Tin Roof Software (sold in 2020) with an enterprise client list that includes Chick-fil-A, Delta Air Lines, and Cox. ASH IP also serves as the investment manager of BLOX, a cutting-edge modular development company specializing in healthcare construction for major brands such as HCA, UHS, and Walmart.

In addition, the Heymans co-founded ASH Atlanta in 2023. Joined by Megan Langley, the partner who oversees the firm, ASH Atlanta is a team of five with almost $40 million AUM. The ASH Atlanta mandate is to help elevate specialized Atlanta experiences in retail, hospitality, and related businesses. Current holdings include The Chastain, Wines by Perrine, Jackson Fine Art, and Siegel Construction + Design. These are boutique, curated businesses with passionate operators committed to elevating Atlanta’s options for its most discerning residents.
