P. Brian Steed
Vice President - Gilbane Building Company
As vice president for Gilbane Building Company, Brian Steed has the responsibility for driving consistency and excellence for operations in the Georgia/South Carolina business unit while overseeing all projects and employees in the local area. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry and as a veteran builder in the Georgia market, Brian has a diverse background building projects from new high schools to surgery additions to large manufacturing plants to multi-use developments. He is especially experienced in educational facilities that include new K-12 schools, complex laboratories and student life buildings. Brian is an active participant in the community and industry organizations. He is currently on the Industry Advisory Board for the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Building Construction. He is an active participant in the Georgia Chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC) serving on the Board of Directors from 2013 to 2016 and 2022 to 2025. He is also a current ACE Mentor Atlanta Board Member since 2017. Brian is a licensed general contractor in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Auburn University.
