Jordan Kiel
President, Georgia Region - The Northern Trust Company
Experience
Jordan Kiel is President for The Northern Trust Company’s Georgia Region. He is responsible for
leading the company’s regional wealth management business for Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama,
and Tennessee.
Prior to this position, Jordan had roles leading the region’s new business and banking practices.
Northern Trust’s Banking Practice provides deposit, lending, interest rate management and treasury
management solutions that support holistic wealth management relationships with individuals, families
and privately owned businesses.
Prior to joining Northern Trust, he worked at a regional bank (BB&T, now Truist), for Accenture, and was
a part of the original commercial real estate securitization group at JP Morgan.
He has significant finance experience in advising middle market-size business owners and non-profits
in balance sheet and liquidity management.
Education
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in economics from the University of Georgia,
an MBA from Georgia State University, and is a graduate of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.
He holds various licenses and designations consistent with his work with clients, including the Certified
Private Wealth Advisor® certification through the University of Chicago Booth School.
Community
When Jordan is not spending time with his wife Allyson and their two children, he is actively involved in
his community. He serves on the Board of Advisors for Shepherd Center, a specialty not-for-profit
hospital in Atlanta, and the governing board at Cherokee Town and Country Club.
He has also served as Board Chair of Trustees for Peachtree Road United Methodist in Buckhead, where
his family attends church.
