Trey Kilpatrick

Senior Vice President, External Affairs - Georgia Power

Trey Kilpatrick serves as Senior Vice President of External Affairs for Georgia Power. In this role, he leads the company’s strategy and engagement in economic development, corporate communication, governmental and regulatory affairs, region external affairs, and is a member of the company’s management council.

Kilpatrick previously served as Chief of Staff for Governor Brian Kemp’s Office. He joined Governor Kemp’s administration in 2020 after serving 10 years with U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson in various roles, including Deputy Chief of Staff, Senior Advisor, Political Director, State Director and Campaign Manager. Prior to his time with Isakson, he was a Vice President for Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc., an Atlanta-based investment firm.

He currently serves on the boards of the Atlanta Sports Council, Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation, Camp Twin Lakes, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and Georgia Ports Authority.

Kilpatrick earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and resides in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
