Longtime Buckhead Coalition member Carol Tomé was inducted on April 27, 2024 as a modern-day Georgia Trustee, the state’s highest honor.

The Georgia Trustee noted that Tomé embodied their motto: “Not for self, but for others.”

Tomé became CEO of UPS, a global logistics firm with 500,000 employees, in 2020 after a 25-year career at The Home Depot Inc. She serves on a number of boards including Verizon Communications Inc. and Grady Memorial Hospit
