State Senate Votes No on Buckhead City

The Buckhead Coalition is enormously grateful for the State Senate’s vote to deny legislation to create a new Buckhead City.  We hope that the passion and enthusiasm which defined this debate can be harnessed and refocused constructively on addressing the challenges of public safety, zoning, economic development, and a responsive City Hall.  Although Atlanta is making great progress, much still needs to be done to build a safer, more prosperous city.

The Coalition will continue to work with Governor Brian Kemp, Mayor Andre Dickens, and others to make sure that we advance the quality of life in Buckhead for our businesses, our residents, and our visitors.
