Mr Kryder became Divisional President of SouthState Bank upon completion of their Merger-of-Equals with CenterState Bank in 2020. Mr. Kryder became Regional President of CenterState Bank in 2019 with the merger of CenterState Bank and National Bank of Commerce. In 2018, Mr. Kryder merged First Landmark Bank into National Bank of Commerce. He guided his team through 3 successful mergers in the past 28 months. Recently, SouthState announced a merger in Atlanta with Atlantic Capital Bank. Upon completion of that merger in early 2022, Mr. Kryder will serve as Chairman of the Atlanta Banking Group. This combined company will have over $44 Billion in Assets, serve over 1 million clients, and operate 300 banking offices in the following 6 states GA, FL, SC, NC, AL, and VA.
Mr. Kryder is on the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the Buckhead Coalition and the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is also a Director of the Midtown Alliance and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kryder served his professional peers as Chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association in 2013-14 and currently serves on the PAC Board of the Georgia Bankers Association. He also served his industry as the Georgia representative on the Government Relations Committee for the American Bankers Association. Mr. Kryder is a member of The Capital City Club, The Burge Club, The Rotary Club of Atlanta, and Peachtree Presbyterian Church. He also is a member of the Glen Lake Yacht Club, and is a Director and Treasurer of The Glen Lake Association.
Mr. Kryder is married to Joy Barber Kryder from Moultrie, GA. Joy and Stan are the proud parents of two adult children; Robert and Kathryn. Robert is Deputy Director of the White House Travel Office under the past three presidents. Kathryn Kryder Putnam is Chief of Staff at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
