Mike Donnelly is the North Georgia region bank president leading Wells Fargo consumer banking operations in northern Georgia, one of the company’s top three markets in total consumer households served. Previously Mike was Wells Fargo’s president of the Mid-South region, including Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee, retail banking executive, retail banking director and financial specialist leader. An active community leader, Mike serves on the Leadership Atlanta board and is the Treasurer for the Metro Atlanta Chamber. He also serves on the boards of Teach for America in Atlanta, as well as the Buckhead Coalition, the Woodward Foundation and the Carter Center. Mike is chair for the Georgia Partnership for Education and is an active member of the Atlanta Rotary Club.
In 2015, the Atlanta Business Chronicle named Mike the Most Admired CEO in the finance category. In 2016, he served as campaign chair for the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s 2016-2017 capital campaign which, through his leadership, was the No. 1 fundraising campaign in the nation. In 2019 and 2020, Atlanta Magazine named Mike to the Atlanta 500 – a list of the city’s most powerful leaders.
Mike received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Radford University in Virginia. He is married and has three children.
