As president of Kaiser Permanente Georgia, Jim is responsible for meeting the health care needs of more than 300,000 Kaiser Permanente members in 26 medical offices and specialty centers, and contracted hospitals. He oversees more than 3,500 employees and works closely with the 600-plus physicians of the Southeast Permanente Medical Group.
Jim joined Kaiser Permanente more than 20 years ago. His prior roles include senior vice president of finance at the national level, vice president and controller for Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California region, and chief financial officer for four other regions.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration-accounting from Southern Methodist University and his master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Texas.
Jim serves on the executive committee of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, The Woodruff Arts Center Board of Trustees, and The Carter Center Board of Councilors.
